Really People??

In this article from USA TODAY, 3.4 million people endure an "extreme commute" every day. This means they commute for 90 minutes or more to work. I see a big problem in that. If you remember reading my post Is Your Commute Killing You?, people would get a clue! I don't understand why they wouldn't try to find a place closer to where they worked? Common sense.

  1. I read the USA TODAY article and I think there's another reason for long commutes that it didn't mention.Because the long term viability of a job is so uncertain these days, people think twice about uprooting and moving their families for a job that may not be there in a year or two.Instead they stay put and deal with really long commutes so that their home and family life are stable.
